Short-lived hatred unless it has a significant impact Romance is not a significant part of the story Annoying female lead (I feel like my tolerance is a little higher than average but please avoid whiny leads that don't have a backbone) One-sided hate where the other party actually likes them or doesn't mind them Superficial or shallow hatred "He/she gets better grades than me," "self-declared rival" (sorry Special A) They end up together in some way, shape, or form Little comedy, or comedy that is done at appropriate times Not stupid female lead (You can make dumb decisions, but I don't like a dumb character) Historical context - Unless the setting is appropriate enough to foster these feelings (Ex: Nan Eomma Nun Appa takes place in high school but they definitely hate each other)
Boy x girl relationship (I've been reading a lot of BL lately lawl) Romance to be a big part of the story, but not the only part (Again, I will reference Basara) Pleasing art - I won't be picky about when, but I would like the art to be at least bearable to look at (Basara was made in the late 1990's but I loved the art) Something that makes your heart wrench (Basara did this to me) Possible revenge between the two love interests Actual, deep mutual hatred or conflict (Warring clans, mortal enemies, bullies, meant to kill each other, etc) Hello everyone! I was hoping if you could help me find a good read (if it exists) about two main characters that begin as enemies but end as lovers. Note: I promise you guys I've spent hours looking on different forums and on Google for something that fits this criteria - If it exists, I have already read it or heard of it haha.
